Samples of Ferrabyrne’s Anti-Roll Bar system (ARB), including bars, links, bushes, mounts and speciality rubber compounds designed by Ferrabyrne have completed testing in China - with flying colours.
The ARB system for the highly-regarded Chinese High-Speed Railway Projects - CR400AF & CRH380A – was put to the test by the China Railway Test & Certification Centre as required by Ferrabyrne’s customer CRRC. The formal tests reports were issued in October 2021 by the China Railway Test & Certification Centre confirming that Ferrabyrne’s design had passed all required tests and satisfied all of the technical requirements.
With more than 50 years of experience in the Railway industry, supplying engineering solutions around the world, this is another major milestone for Ferrabyrne. This has been achieved following extensive collaboration between teams based in Ferrabyrne’s UK and China offices in conjunction with the China Railway Test & Certification Centre. This is also key to open the door to next stage of track-trials and an important step for Ferrabyrne to be able to provide support to the Railway industry in China, directly or through its new subsidiary Qingdao Ferrabyrne Rail Technology Ltd.
